Electric Bike Intermediate Service.

Service Description

Performed at the workshop. Similar to the intermediate 'analogue bike' service, but includes firmware update/ error code reset (where applicable), check torque of motor mounting bolts and security of battery mounting. We are equipped to service Bosch, Yamaha, Shimano, Fazua and GoCycle powered bikes. Inspect for worn parts and provide estimate to replace proir to starting work. £80 is the labour cost, it does not include any parts. All parts replaced are the same, or better than the parts removed. We will discuss any options with you at the time we provide the estimate. Price includes both wheels trued in stand. Hubs inspected, and adjusted where possible, bearing replacement is not included in this service. Rims inspected. Tyres inspected. Tyres inflated to appropriate pressure. Tyres are not removed as part of this service. Derailleur hanger alignment checked. Derailleur/s checked for play/ free movement. Gear wires lubed/ replaced if necessary. Chain cleaned & lubed, or replaced if necessary. Cassette cleaned, or replaced if necessary. Chainrings cleaned and inspected. Pedals inspected, and fitting checked. Bottom bracket examined for play, adjusted where possible. Gears adjusted. Brake wires replaced, if necessary. Brakes adjusted (replacement of pads or servicing of hydraulic brakes not included). Brake blocks (v-brake or road caliper) replaced. Brake rotor fixing checked. Seat post removed, cleaned & greased where appropriate. Bar end plugs fitted, where absent. Headset checked for play, and adjusted where possible. All fixings checked for appropriate torque and condition. Test ride.
